Interested in RUF?

If you are looking for a Christian fellowship at UAB, you have several options-- all holding to the same faith in Christ and calling you to live after Christ. Each group has different strengths and different ways of getting things done. RUF is one. 

RUF emphasizes nurturing every student to pursue their own calling, their own opportunities and purpose. A large part of this is learning how to love other students, and how to help them see that God really is good. That's ministry to students and through students. 

RUF emphasizes truth and thinking, BUT the point is not "being smart." Our goal is to build a group of students learning and loving, which draws other to Christ and helps each other learn to live for God and others. The point is becoming wise and that means love.

If you are looking for a Christian fellowship, RUF may be the place for you. Have you felt uncomfortable in Christian groups because you don't agree with some Christian teaching or feel like you don't fit in? RUF could be a good place to follow your interest in Christ.
